Carrières du Boulonnais delivers rapidly and uses customized transport methods : dump trucks, tank trucks and platforms, full tonnage trains, river barges and cargo ships.

The company can thus load up to 40,000 tons of material per day.

Proper means of transport, optimization of loading times and meeting delivery schedules are priorities for Carrières du Boulonnais.

By road

Truck loads supply clients directly as well as the river ports and wharves located a few kilometers from the quarry.

It was designed to handle 1000 trucks or more per day. There is a control station at the entrance (admissibility of the trucks is verified by camera, taring, distribution of badges, etc….) and exit is completely automated (scale ticket, etc…).

In 2008, based on total tonnage carried, 55 % was by road.

Thanks to two ways of loading (one of which connects directly to the facility by tunnel) and five ways of stocking, it is possible to currently dispatch, up to 6 trains per day.
