INVOLVEMENT IN SUCCESSFUL WORK SITE

route_4 Carrières du Boulonnais hard limestone (LA+MDE = 35) is highly resistant to shock and attrition allowing it to be accepted for the full pavement structure, notably the bedding and dressing of light traffic roads.

Its compatibility and ease of use are its major assets.

Sand

The sand used in public works are 0/4 mm, 0/6 mm subject to various granulometrics.

Ex : Dry sand 0/4 mm with 10 % fines

Sand

Gravel

Gravel Dry gravel is mainly used in the underlayers of road structures.

Ex : Dry gravel 4/6 mm

Unbound mixture road aggregates (GNT)

Unbound mixture aggregates are most often used either:

- for road foundation and the bedding of public work platforms;

or

- for subbase course and road base layers.

Ex : Unbound sand-gravel aggregate 0/31,5 mm

Embankments

Embankments For maritime and river works, the different granulometries can be ranked in:

- 5/50 kg to 5/8 ton as
well as intermediate sizes :
- 20/80 kg, 150/300 kg, 250/1500 kg
- 1/3 T, 2/4 T, 3/5 T, 5/7 T, etc…

and all-in ballast from from 0 to 1000 kg
